Wine tourism in Savoy is one of the gateways to discover the vineyard. Indeed, to live an immersive experience within the terroir is always more enriching than to approach a wine outside its environment. The Savoyard vineyard is so singular with its steep slopes and hillsides that shape the foothills of the Pre-Alps.
The Savoy Wine Route is part of the Alpine Wine Route, which is cross-border with Italy. It concerns more particularly the vineyards located near Turin, in the Aosta Valley and in Savoy Mont Blanc.
There is a common history and it goes back long before the creation of administrative borders. It is the sharing of a heroic viticulture, of strong slopes leaning against the slopes of the Alpine mountains that gave birth to this project of a new road. The ambition is to revalorize the wine tourism, gastronomy, heritage and cultural heritage of this great area. A digital tool emanates from this European Cross-border project to allow you to leave on the Alpine Wine Route®.

What could be better than to prepare a hike or a bike ride on the discovery trails set up in the vineyards. You can also take a break in the wine cellars... In fact, there are nearly 100 wine cellars to visit in Savoy Mont Blanc, most of which are listed in the leaflet below.
In your research, you can rely on the national label Vignobles & Découvertes® which federates numerous members (winegrowers, restaurant owners, accommodation providers, outdoor activities, etc.). This will be a precious help to prepare your visit... In the Savoy vineyards, 2 distinct territories offer this label:
With more than 77 certified professionals including 23 wineries.
Alps with more than 78 certified professionals including 22 wineries.
